Meet Pat

Pat is an ordained minister, retired lieutenant colonel, and Nevada State Senator who has dedicated her life to public service and taking on tough challenges. The first openly lesbian member of the Nevada Legislature, Pat has fought tirelessly for veterans, the LGBTQ+ community, and women, introducing numerous bills to ensure that all Nevadans are treated fairly under the law.

Elected in 2012 and re-elected in 2016 with landslide victories, Pat Spearman is the Senator for Nevada’s 1st Senate District, which represents North Las Vegas.
